I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
